Denmead looks like Waterlooville's neighbour, and in most ways it is, but it's run from the other direction: the village sits in the Winchester district, not Havant or East Hampshire. That catches people out when they go looking for the right planning page. The gardens out past Anthill Common and Soake are a different job to a town garden as well, with more space to work with and more ground to get level first, which is where most of our time goes: sub-base, drainage and levels before anything is laid on top.
