Free site visit and quote · We reply within 24 hours
Garden landscaping in Waterlooville, Portsmouth and across South East Hampshire, handled start to finish by one small, family-run team. We clear, level, build and plant, and the old materials are taken away when we're done.
On this page: what the work involves and how we quote. Call 07813 073814 or send us photos with the quote form. We reply within 24 hours, and the site visit and quote are free.
A full transformation typically runs from clearance and groundworks through to lawns, beds, paving and features, all handled by the same team, start to finish.
Raised beds, sleeper planters, pergolas and other garden features can be built to fit your space, giving structure to the garden and making it easier to look after.
Prefer to do it in stages? We can split a bigger plan into phases so the garden improves as the budget allows.

How do you quote a garden landscaping project?
Every garden is quoted fixed from a free, no-obligation site visit rather than a rate card or a day rate. Access, ground conditions and drainage shape the work more than the materials do, so we look before we quote, and the price we agree before we start is the price you pay.
If something unexpected turns up in the ground, we talk to you before anything changes. It happened to us on a recent job: digging out turned up problems nobody could have seen beforehand. We stopped, talked the customer through the options, and agreed the way forward before carrying on. That's what honest quoting looks like when the garden has other ideas.
Do you take on small or tight-access gardens?
Yes. We do a lot of small and tight-access gardens across the areas we cover, where materials get carried through by hand. It's slower work, but it's normal work for us, and the quote accounts for it up front.
Small city gardens across Portsmouth's terraces are typical for us: everything comes in and out through the house, and that's planned for from the start rather than discovered on day one.
What's the difference between hard and soft landscaping?
Hard landscaping is the built structure of the garden: paving, walls, fencing, decking, paths and drainage. Soft landscaping is everything that grows: turf, beds, planting and trees.
A full garden project needs both, in that order. We handle the groundworks, lay patios on a full mortar bed on properly prepared ground, put up fencing, and finish with turf and planting.
What does a landscaper actually do?
A landscaper plans and builds outdoor spaces: clearing, levelling, drainage, bases, paving, fencing, turfing and planting. We do the whole run, from garden clearance and groundworks through to the finished garden, with the same people on site from first visit to last.
There's no call centre and no subcontracting chain. The person who walks your garden and quotes it is the person who builds it, and the old materials are taken away at the end. You can see 94 photos of our real jobs on the work page. None of them are stock images.
Do I need a landscaper or a gardener?
A gardener maintains a garden: mowing, pruning, weeding, tidying. A landscaper changes it: a new patio, new levels, a new lawn, new fencing or a full makeover.
If something needs building, clearing or re-shaping, that's landscaper work, and it's what we do. That covers single jobs and repairs as well as full garden projects. No job too big or small.
Do you do garden design as well as landscaping?
Yes. We handle garden design and landscaping together for full makeovers: layout, levels, materials and planting worked out with you at the free site visit, then built by the same team.
Most home gardens don't need a separate designer. Bring your ideas, or a photo of a garden you like, and we'll tell you straight what works in your space. It's always worth a conversation.
