Garden Clearance in Waterlooville & Portsmouth
Free site visit and quote · We reply within 24 hours
Garden clearance in Waterlooville, Portsmouth and across South East Hampshire: overgrown gardens, cluttered plots and end-of-tenancy tidy-ups cleared, with all the waste taken away. And because we also landscape and build, a clearance here is often the first step of a bigger plan.
On this page: what's included in a clearance, and what happens to the waste. Call 07813 073814 or send us photos with the quote form. Photos of the garden as it stands are all we need to quote most clearances.
We cut back and remove overgrowth, brambles and unwanted shrubs, lift old structures and hard surfaces, and strip the space back to a blank canvas.
Green waste and general clutter are loaded and removed as we go, so the garden is genuinely clear at the end, not piled in a corner.
A clearance is often the first step of a bigger plan. Because we also handle landscaping and groundworks, we can quote the next stage at the same time.

What decides a clearance quote?
The waste, not the lawn size: how much there is, what kind, and how far it has to be carried. Years of growth mean more cutting, more loads and more carrying, and we quote a fixed price from your photos or a free visit, so the number you agree is the number you pay.
Don't tidy up before we come. Photos of the garden at its worst give us an honest picture, and an honest picture gets you an accurate fixed quote first time.
What is garden clearance, and what's included?
Garden clearance is the labour to cut back and clear a garden plus removal of everything that comes out: overgrowth, brambles, green waste and general clutter. At KCO it includes lifting old structures and hard surfaces where you want them gone, and a basic tidy of the cleared space.
Sheds and old structures can be dismantled and taken away as part of the job. Tell us what you want gone and the quote covers all of it.
What happens to the garden waste?
Everything we cut and lift is loaded and removed as we go, so the garden is genuinely clear at the end of the job, not piled in a corner waiting for a skip. You don't need to hire a skip, book the tip or handle any of it.
A clearance quote depends on how much is coming out, which is why photos matter. Send them over and we price the whole job, waste included.
Is free garden clearance a real thing?
Not from a commercial firm: the labour and the waste disposal both cost real money, so treat a 'free clearance' offer carefully. What may exist locally is council garden-waste collection, or help for elderly and disabled residents; it's worth checking with your council before paying anyone.
What costs nothing with us is the quote. Send photos, get a fixed price, and decide with no obligation either way.
How long does a garden clearance take?
Guide timings run from 2 to 4 hours for a small tidy up to 1 to 3 days for a large overgrown garden, and up to 5 days where soil and rubble are involved (BookaBuilderUK). Access matters as much as size: waste carried through a house takes longer than waste barrowed to a driveway.
We'll give you the expected time on site with the quote, and we turn up when we say we will.
What happens after the clearance?
Whatever you want to happen next. A cleared garden is a blank canvas, and because we also handle groundworks, fencing and full garden landscaping, we can quote the next stage at the same visit.
Plenty of customers stop at the clearance, and that's fine. If you do want the garden rebuilt, the same team takes it from cleared plot to finished garden, start to finish. It's always worth a conversation.
