Fencing contractors covering Waterlooville, Portsmouth and the surrounding Hampshire area, from a single blown-over panel to a full garden boundary. Repairs are as welcome as replacements, and we'll tell you honestly which one is better value.

On this page: repairs versus replacement, and how the work is done. Call 07813 073814 or send us photos with the quote form. A photo of the damage is usually enough to quote a repair.

We handle the whole job: removing the old fence, digging out and setting new posts properly, and fitting panels, gravel boards and caps for a clean, uniform finish.

Storm damage, rotten posts or a sagging run: repairs are just as welcome as full replacements. We'll tell you honestly whether a repair or a replacement is the better value.

Every fencing job is finished tidily, with old materials and waste cleared away so you're left with nothing but the new fence.

    How the job runs

Call 07813 073814 or send photos with the quote form, and we reply within 24 hours.

    2. 2

We come out for a free site visit and give you one fixed price for the whole job, agreed before any work starts.

    3. 3

The same small team does the job from start to finish, with no subcontractors.

    4. 4

If the ground turns up something unexpected, we talk it through with you and give you the options before going further.

    5. 5

We leave everything tidy, and if something's not right, we come back and put it right.

Can the fence be repaired, or does it need replacing?

If the panels are sound and it's one post or a couple of panels that have gone, a repair is usually the better value. If posts are rotten along the run or the whole fence has started moving in the wind, replacement stops you paying twice. We do both, so we'll tell you honestly which yours needs.

Storm damage, rotten posts and sagging runs are normal work for us, not a favour. Our replacement quotes include taking down and removing the old fence, so there's no separate bill for getting rid of the old one.

Can you replace just a couple of fence panels?

Yes. Replacing a couple of storm-damaged panels is a small job, and we treat it as one. No job too big or small.

Send a photo of the damaged run with the quote form and we'll price it without a visit where we can. For a full boundary, you get one fixed price for the whole run, agreed before we start, with the old fence taken away included.

What decides the price of a new fence?

The length of the run, the height, the style of panel, timber or concrete posts, gravel boards and gates, taking the old fence out, and how easy the garden is to get to all shape the price. Roots, old concrete or a slope can also make posts slower to set.

We don't list prices because two fences the same length can be very different jobs. A photo is usually enough to quote a repair, and a full boundary gets one fixed price, agreed before we start.

Timber or concrete posts: which should I choose?

Concrete posts cost more up front and last far longer, because fences fail at ground level where timber rots. Close to the coast, salt air is hard on timber and fixings, so concrete posts and galvanised fittings usually earn their keep.

We fit both, and we'll tell you honestly where the extra cost is worth it and where it is not.

How long does a new fence take to fit?

The new fence goes up quickly; what takes the time is getting the old posts out, especially where they were concreted in. Ground, access and the length of the run set the pace more than the fitting does.

We'll give you the expected time on site with the quote, we turn up when we say we will, and the garden is left tidy at the end of each day.

Do you take the old fence away?

Yes. Old panels, posts and offcuts are cleared and taken away as part of the job, and the garden is left tidy. You won't be left with a pile by the gate or a trip to the tip.

If the boundary is buried under years of growth, we can clear the garden first and fence it after: one quote, one team, start to finish.
