Landscapers in Havant, Emsworth and Leigh Park

Havant is a few miles east of us, so it sits inside our normal working patch, with no travel charge on the work we agree.

    Work we've done in Havant

We've worked in Havant itself and out towards Emsworth.

What's different about working in Havant

Havant covers a lot of ground, and the work changes with it. There are the estates at Leigh Park and Bedhampton, the town centre, and then the older streets down at the water in Langstone, Warblington and Emsworth, several of which sit in conservation areas. It's worth telling us which part you're in when you call, because it decides how we get materials in and, in a few streets, whether the job needs permission at all.

    Planning in Havant

Havant Borough Council decides planning here, and the borough has fourteen conservation areas, among them Emsworth, Langstone, Old Bedhampton, St Faith's and Warblington. Langstone Harbour carries an extra rule called an Article 4 direction. It applies to every property in that conservation area, on the sides that face a public area, and it means work that would normally be allowed can need planning permission first. If your job is in one of those streets we'll say so when we quote, and the council's conservation pages set out the detail.

Questions people ask us in Havant

Do you charge for a quote in Havant?

No. Send us a few photos, rough measurements and a line on the job, and we'll come back with a fixed price. There's no travel charge in our normal patch, which takes in Havant, Bedhampton, Leigh Park, Emsworth and Langstone.

Will the people who quote the job be the people who do it?

Yes. It's the same small team from the first conversation to the finished job, and we don't use subcontractors.

Does a new fence or a paved front garden need permission here?

Usually not, but it depends on the street. In the conservation areas, and in Langstone in particular, the rules are tighter. We'll flag it when we quote and point you at the council's page.
