Landscapers in Fareham
We cover Fareham from our base in Waterlooville, with the town centre about as far west as we usually work.
How far west we come
Fareham town centre is roughly the edge of our normal patch. Titchfield, Locks Heath and Park Gate are further out, and the traffic across that side of the borough makes them a longer run, so ask us before you count on it. We would rather tell you honestly at the quote stage than let you down later. Everything from Portchester back towards Waterlooville is home ground for us, and Fareham sits at the far end of it.
The part of the job you don't see
Whatever goes on top, the thing that decides how it looks in five years is what's underneath: levels, drainage and a properly compacted sub-base before the first slab or block is laid. It's the unglamorous half of the work, and it's the half people are most often let down by. We take on the whole job, from digging out to the last slab, rather than handing you between trades.
Planning in Fareham
Fareham Borough Council decides planning here, and the borough has thirteen conservation areas. Several are in and around the town: Fareham High Street, Town Quay and Wallington, with Catisfield and Portchester's Castle Street further out. In a conservation area, work that would normally be allowed can need permission first, so if you're in one of those streets it's worth checking before anything is ordered.
